Saturday 2009 Events & Attractions

 

Welcome to the wonder of the Minnesota Waldorf School Holiday Fair! Make time Saturday to attend the following events & attractions:

 

 

Saturday Plays (3 tickets each)

 

Puppet Play, "The Elves & the Shoemaker"

Showtimes at 11:00 & 1:00pm


Faculty Play, "Lazy Jack," a comic romp

Showtimes at 12:00 & 2:00pm

 

Gnome Cave

A mysterious and magical adventure to gnome land for children ages 3 to 4th grade. Purchase reserved time tickets for $2.50 at the ticket booth. Showtimes every 15 minutes on Saturday.

Walk for your chance to win a whole cake or extra special bakery treat!

Every 30 minutes on Saturday, starting at 10:15, 10:45, 11:15, 11:45, 12:15, 12:45, 1:15, 1:45, 2:15, 2:45, 3:15 and 3:45

 

Face Painting & Hair Beading (cash only)

Our creative 8th graders will adorn your children (and parents too!) with beads & butterflies and fairies & flowers!  Proceeds will go to the 8th grade class trip.  Thank you for your support.

 

Jump-rope Making (cash only)

Pick out your colors, string up the hand cranked winding machine and wind, wind away! Children of all ages enjoy making their own jumprope - which can be transformed into a sword holder, a lasso for a dragon or a puppy dog leash.  The sky's the limit when it comes to the imagination! Located in front of the 8th grade classroom, 10am - 12, 12:30 - 2pm and 2 - 4pm.  Proceeds will go to the 8th grade class trip.  Thank you for your support.

 

Royal Treatment Room - Open Saturday 11am - 4:30pm

Enjoy a mini-spa session with one of four pampering practitioners donating their time for this event! Recommended for Moms and Dads, Aunties and Grannies, and anyone in need of a little rejuvenation.

Purchase your 15-minute treatment coupons at the ticket booth or from the attendant at in the Royal Treatment Room.  Just $10 for a 15 minute treatment.  Look for the Royal Treatment Room in the Kindergarten Cottage behind the main building.

 

 

Quiet Room

A peaceful sanctuary where you can retreat and unwind. Also a great place for you and your baby or young child to relax. Located at the far end of the Kindergarten Cottage behind the main building.

 

 

 

 

 

Tickets

Purchase all event tickets at the two ticket booths near the front entrance.

 

Activity tickets are available in books of 10 for $8, or single tickets can be purchased for $1 each.

 

Gnome Cave tickets are for a reserved time and cost $2.50 each.

 

Royal Treatment Coupons are $10 each for a 15-minute treatment.
